About us

I'm Antonio, born and raised in the heart of the Aeolians

My name is Antonio and I was born and raised in Lipari, in the heart of the Aeolian Islands. The sea has always been part of my life: ever since I was a child I've spent my days between the coast and the open sea, learning every corner, every seabed and every nuance. My greatest passion is freediving spearfishing, which has let me explore the Aeolians from a unique perspective and discover hidden places, unspoiled coves and extraordinary depths.

From this deep bond with the land «I Vulcani» was born: the wish to share with those who visit our islands an authentic experience, made of freedom, crystal-clear sea and landscapes only the Aeolians can offer. Every day at sea is a chance to experience the archipelago differently, away from the crowds and close to nature.

That's why we offer reliable dinghies, a service cared for in every detail and all our experience to help you discover routes, bays and hidden corners that only those born and raised here truly know. For us the sea isn't simply a destination, but a way of life: and it's exactly this passion we want to pass on to those who choose I Vulcani, so that every trip becomes an authentic, unforgettable memory.

Everything you need to know

Do I need a boat licence?

No: our dinghies stay within the power limits for licence-free operation. And for skippered tours we take care of everything.

Where do we depart from?

From Canneto Pier, in Lipari (Aeolian Islands). We'll send you the exact meeting point on WhatsApp when you book.

Which islands can we visit?

All seven Aeolians — Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi. We build the itinerary together based on time and weather.

What happens in bad weather?

Safety comes first: if the weather doesn't allow us to set out, we reschedule the tour or cancel it at no cost.

What should I bring on board?

Swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, water and a desire to have fun. Mask and snorkel are recommended for snorkeling.

What languages do you speak?

Italian and English: we look after you before, during and after the tour in the language you prefer.
